so I bought this camera because of clever marketing and I am glad I did. It's fun, a bit bulky, easy to use. It takes great pictures but the camera can take a bit to get started. My only criticism would be that when I was snowboarding it got foggy under the lens so a picture came out blurred. It resolved rather quickly so no worries.

Well..... I just ordered this product and I love it. What happend was we have a camera but its not waterproof and we were going on a cruise in like a week and we didnt want our other one to get ruined. so we bought this one. At first we thought that it could only shoot in water but it works perfectly out of water too. This made the most out of our vacation. When we went snorkeling and swimming, plus its easy to upload to youtube and facebook! I would highly recamend it

Would have given it 5 stars but it doesn't take the best color pictures like my old, trusty Canon however it does shoot better video. The MP4 format is crystal clear and you can upload straight to YouTube. Awesome to use in the water. Surfed with it. Swam with it (in pool and ocean.) With great light comes insanely great videos.

Picked this up before Christmas as a sub-$200 bargain, love the camera apart from one thing, the little joystick/select button seems a little cheap and may be easily broken.

I like its versatility and design. Cost 199 before Xmas. I did comparisons before purchasing this one. Only reservations: you need to purchase your SD Memory separately as none comes with the camera, and the buttons can be a bit small to manipulate.

There is a universal tripod mount that surprised me and handy to have. The underwater feature is nice, but know it is limited to 5 feet down. I liked that feature more for use in rainy weather.

Overall I have been very pleased and recommend it. If you can try it at a store that might be helpful. The design is certainly right-handed, but that is no big deal.

I am on vacation right now in Maui and am so glad I picked this camera up. I already own a Sony HD camcorder, but I wanted something that was small, handy and was really attracted to the concept of it being waterproof. So my sons and I go swimming, and I can catch it on film. Tomorrow I go snorkeling and will catch it on film. It downloads easy, it is really easy to use, it is a great toy! I am so glad I bought it. You will get shots you normally will not get.

I'm not a professional but I love this camcorder. I love the small size and the picture quality. I had one frustrating problem originally, that I thought I would mention, in case it saves somebody confusion. I initially thought the unit was broken because it wasn't recording still pictures onto the memory card. The problem turned out to be the fact that I wasn't pushing the photo button hard enough. It appeared to focus and take a picture but would not store it. I finally figured out I just needed to press the button harder. The pictures are great as well as the videos, all in a small waterproof package. Very nice.
