Incase Slider Case for iPhone 3G (Magenta)
Love it!

This is my second case and it's absolutly fantastic. The material is nice and the color is very sharp! When I bought this phone I bought another case with rubber grips on the side and that did not last more than three weeks. All I was left with is a sticky case. This case fits the phone nicely (it's not to tight and not too loose) and I feel that it protects the phone very well. Thinking about ordering another. The only reason I rated it 4 starts instead of five is because it's making my screen protector lift in the bottom left hand cover just a little and it's quite annoying.

Love this case

I went through 3 different cases the first week (returned them all) I had my iPhone before I settled on this one. I tried one wallet type cases and two of those floppy useless rubber pieces of garbage. This case is great. Goes on easily and doesn't come off until you want it to. The matte finish makes for good grip on your iPhone. I use mine with the invisble sheild screen protector and have no issues with the edges getting peeled up (invisble sheild has a lifetime free replacement warranty if that were to happen though). Though I can easily see where that could happpen with screen protectors that go right up to the edge, because this case is a very tight fit. Save your self the hassle of going through multiple cases and just start with this one. You won't be sorry.

Not worth $35 but a great case

I bought the white version because I thought the pink looked too bright/neon. This case is a very tight fit. but the Iphone 3G will slide in very nicely and there is no clunking if you shake it. It's convenient because I use it with an Ihome and all I have to do is slide off the bottom and put it on the dock. I dropped it from about 4 feet onto my hardwood floor. There was a crack on the volume rocker left corner that didn't go all the way through the case. It doesn't open when you drop it. 1ft/2ft drops won't harm it. One downside is that it doesn't work with most screen shields. The sides start to come up and air bubbles form which allows lint to go under. It's extremely annoying. All in all its a decent case but it isn't worth the $35 I payed.

Best case I've seen.

I had two Griffin Wave cases, and I've got to say that they don't hold a candle to this one. I looked for a top-and-bottom fit after my housemate showed me his Agent 18 case for his iPhone (original, not 3G). Sadly, Agent 18 has changed their design to also be front-and-back fit instead of top-and-bottom.
This case fits snugly, but you can easily slide the bottom off in order to dock the iPhone. The color is right on (I bought red plum, which is basically a dark pink) and it feels nice and smooth. It can withstand being dropped without popping off and doesn't collect dust.
I paired this with an anti-glare film on the screen (also purchased from the apple store) and it's perfect. Highly recommended!(12 of 12 people found this review useful)

The Good and the Bad

In the past, I used plastic cases for my iPhone that would typically stretch out within 2 weeks, sometimes sooner. I bought the slider case because it was durable, especially if you dropped it, and the detachable bottom made it easy to dock charge it! I bought the pink one because it's my favorite color....bad choice!! It picked up dirt like you wouldn't believe, especially around the edges. My case looked about a year old within 2 days! Even with a deep scrubbing with soap and water, it still looked disgusting.

It's a very good case. I would have gave it 5 stars, but when you put the phone in your pocket with jeans or just in general it gets dirty around the edges.

I got two cases from apple and this has got to be my all time favorite. The removable bottom part makes it easy to charge. The hard case also makes its pretty durable for me. It's great!

It's Awesome! Keeps my phone safe!

I'm pretty rough with my phone, I'm clumsy and drop it and when i skateboard it happens too. I once dropped it really bad when I was boarding, it fell on it's face and slide across the asfalt. Luckiy...the only thing that was wrong is that the case was cracked which is no big deal when my $300 phone is safe. I've dropped my phone many times and the only thing wrong with it,is it has a cracked and scuffed case. I'm happy with it!

Great Case

I bought this case after reading just about every review and going to the Apple Store myself. All in all, a great case. Haven't had any problems with it being dirty, ruining my screen protector, or anything of the sort. Paired with a screen protector, it's the best protection I've had for my phone.
