Does not work with a Powerbook G4! But that is fine because I can easily access it wirelessly via my iMac or airport. Nice sleek drive that looks good sitting on the foot of my iMac. Blue light is not too bright. I have had no problems yet but it has only been two days. Time will tell! The drive itself is very attractive and does not look out of place on the desk. Bonus is the the fact that it only requires a USB 2.0 cable, and transfer time are very quick. I recommend this product!

You cannot get any better than this!
The Iomega eGo Helium portable hard drive is an exemplary hard drive, and, quite simply, it is the best hard drive that I have ever used. It is extremely rugged and durable. It features special Drop Guard (TM) technology that will protect the drive from a 51" drop, which is 40% above the industry average.
Having used the Iomega Ego drives for sometime, I appreciate the smaller, yet far more durable, design of the Helium drive.
The finish is very smooth, and it does not have the powder coating that is featured on the larger Ego drives.
My Helium drive has come with a 320 GB, 297.8 GB usable, Samsung hard drive, which is one of the best hard drives on the market today.
This drive only requires one USB cable. No other cable is required for power.
I recommend having the sticker and four rubber feet removed from the bottom of this drive. They are not needed at all. They all come off without any effort. It makes for a much sleeker look.
I have given this drive a five star rating.
