Solid Laptop Protection in Standard Messenger Bag Format

The main section is extremely roomy and, while not padded on the bottom, has plenty of room for a change of clothes, a book, external hard drives, etc. The interior laptop pocket is faux fur lined and the pocket flap encloses the entire slot, so top corners are also covered inside the bag. Several pockets are on the interior front wall of the main pocket. A Velcro flap closing one fits a 85Watt mag power adapter and cord, 2 pen slots, a small zippered pocket that will hold a 2.5" usb hdd, and a primary zippered pocket that runs the length of the interior and has a key/thumb drive lanyard inside. The front pocket under the flap is Velcro and has a another narrow lined pocket for a phone/ ipod, as well as an open pocket large enough for the wide blackberry and its holster. Finally, on the flap of the bag is an outside quick stash zippered pocket with headphone pass through.
While the lack of dividers in the main section may be a show stopper for some at first glance, plenty of case logic type cd, HDD, headphone and file folder storage solutions can add gadget padding and resolve organization problem with little additional weight.(23 of 23 people found this review useful)

I was in New York and my previous laptop bag broke (a different make and mode…Read morel) and this bag managed to take all the things from my old bag and more, including: a DSLR, an extra lens (that is about a foot long), a "My Book" external HDD, bunches of cables, 2 mice and the book I was reading. It is also very comfortable to wear. The laptop pocket is very well protected as well. As I haven't had it long I can't properly judge the build quality, however, it seems to be very well made. In my opinion it is the perfect bag for anyone who want to be able to carry either a little or a lot of stuff, comfortably and at the same time make sure that their MacBook Pro is protected.

T…Read morehe issue is that there is no padding on the bottom of the bag for the rest of the stuff you put in the bag. It would be fine if you just carry textbooks, but sometimes I carry my DSLR with me. Might be an issue for some, might not. Also the material does seem a little on the thinside. As noted by another reviewer the nylon does lint up very easily where the bag rubs up against you. It is rather annoying for something this price, but I can deal with it.

It comes with a notebook sleeve built-in and has lots of padding...never had trouble with it. I dont have an iphone but it comes with a quick access pocket on the front which is very useful when you need something quick.
It's overall what I'd expect from Incase. Sleek, stylish, minimal, and high-quality.
Definitely for students and commuters.

I just picked the bag up today to use with my new MacBook pro. I ended up also purchasing a sleeve to use as well, as I found the…Read more pocket to not be as snug of a fit as I'd like. I was looking for a good bag I can use for everyday and travel with, that I know will protect my laptop, and so far this looks to fit the bill.
This was not my first choice in bags, but when the ones I looked at that I wanted were usually over $200 (tended to be leather), this was an easy choice. Even compared to other bags in the same price range.

This messenger bag does just that and I've been impressed with it's style, simpiclity, and functionality. My only wish is that they would have given more padding/protection for the laptop sleeve.
