if y…Read moreou travel, a nice thing is that you can plug your iPod/iPhone into this battery pack, then plug the battery pack into a wall outlet (with the included mini USB), and both will charge simultaneously. you won't need to bring your own iPod usb cord (unless you want to actually plug it into your computer).(13 of 15 people found this review useful)

I've had this battery for about 6 months now and while I've read reviews about how it won't take a charge any more my still works …Read morefine. As previous reviews have stated the battery will not allow you to use the head phones which for me wasn't a problem as I only used the battery to charge my Ipod Touch while traveling and when I wasn't using it. If you deplete the battery to 10%-20% then you'll get back around 80%-90% power back. This product was very useful when not around a source of power. It didn't quite live up to the claims it made but it was good enough, and worth the money. If you sent you Ipod/Iphone back to Apple to replace the battery it would cost you $80 plus shipping to do, something to think about.

More compact than you think

I picked one up at the store and this nifty little battery pack is much more compact than the picture shows.
Granted, it is not…Read more as large as the more expensive battery pack, but it packs enough charge to get me through the remainder of the day, especially because I hit 20% battery by late afternoon.
Things I like:
1. Easy to charge with a retractable cable
2. charges without any messy cable. just plug in and you're up and running
3. The protective cap also acts as a kick stand for my youtube videos
Overall, I'm really happy with my purchase. One thing to keep in mind is that the battery can't keep up with your usage if your iPhone drains power faster than it is able to charge, so I've turned off "Push" email to "Fetch" to help with this issue.(256 of 274 people found this review useful)

It has the capacity to charge my iPhone 3G from 20% to 100% (in about 1 hour) and that's about it. If you want/need more capacity that that, you need to buy a larger battery. For me this works about perfect.

It clips on to the iPhone with ease even when I have my cover on my iPhone.
