I did read the reviews and complains of statics in big cities with lots of FM radio broadcasts but I live in a small town and travRead moreel to another small town on the highway with only 2 FM radio stations and I still had TONS and I do mean TONS of statics.
    In general waste of money.

    Garbage

Written by HA from South Euclid

This product is useless for all intents and purposes. I can't even believe that it's in stock at Apple stores.

With mine, I caRead moren barely hear the music through the static- and even then a radio station will still emerge in and out- no matter where I put it on the dial.

I'm going to attempt to return mine. Absolute garbage.

    Not worth it.

This was the only adapter that was usable with the iPhone, so I bought it. The static is awful and it gives you radio stations thaRead moret don't exist. I would not recommend buying this product! The only good thing about this is that it also charges your iPhone or iPod.

    Don't fix what ain't broken...

    Written by RS from Dickinson

I don't know what Belkin did....but the reception on this is lacking. I had to get a new car charger/adapter for my 4th gen nano bRead moreecause my previous Belkin no longer charged the nano. Unfortunately, the new model doesn't have the power or boost (or whatever) to cancel out static or weak radio signals, whereas the older one did beautifully - nice clear sound even when you got a weak broadcast.

    Junk.

    Written by PB from Zionsville

I paid almost $100 (w/tax) only to get a piece of junk! Reception is terrible and the whole thing is too heavy & cumbersome. TheRead more cable and plug are bulky and awkward – a lightweight design similar to that of the OE Apple headset, which comes with the iPhone, would be much better. …but then again, so would a clear, static-free signal. Do not buy!
