It uses a usb adapter instead of the apple adapter so you have to carry other stuff around with you to make it work. DONT BUY IT. YOU WILL TAKE IT BACK LIKE I DID AND MY SON DID.

I grabbed one of the first ones off the shelf and followed the instructions exactly.
Looked nice, didn't like the uneven fit be…Read moretween parts, but oh well. Noticed right away, battery meter went to 4 lights. hmmm.
Put it in sync mode, and after a long wait, finally sync'd. THEN, none of my USB items (keyboard mouse) worked! Those items are on a powered hub, but the Slider was plugged directly into my Pro.
Contacted Customer Service at inCase - they are very very good!
Took it back for #2. SAME STORY, only THIS TIME...after flakey sync's...iTunes said my phone was unrecognized!!!! OH GREAT. I was lucky, and able to recover from that.
Sat it on the shelf to decide what to do. HMMMM, great...the thing can't hold it's charge for more than a week!!! Now THAT'S a pain...I wanted a backup to keep in my travel bag for emergencies. So, don't expect more than 5 days without virtually complete drainage.
Took it back for #3. SAME PROBLEMS! Sync not consistent. Knocks out my USB chain. And, after a full charge, it dropped one light as I plugged it into my phone.
Bottom line. For what I wanted, this will not do and I'm going to return it for a refund and explore a different solution. I have a nice SwitchEasy case anyway and I hate having to take that thing off just to use the battery pack, but that's not inCase's fault.(13 of 15 people found this review useful)

I just bought this case yesterday at an apple store and its awesome. double the battery life, real nice feeling texture of the cas…Read moree, only about doubles the thickness of an iPhone (which isnt really much) hidden blue lights ect.
*make sure also to charge it fully before putting your iPhone in it.
Anyone who knows Incase (expecially slider) knows its a very good quality. And only about double the price then a 'normal' case.(370 of 416 people found this review useful)

I have the Mophie Juice Pack and I found it to be to large for my taste. Sure I got double battery life, but the top of my iPhone…Read more was exposed and not much protection. I then ordered the Incase Slider case and this is the hands down winner. Better overall size and double the battery life. Plus you can still sink with iTunes with the case still on the iPhone (The Mophie could do that also). I also like the fact that there are 5 blue dots on the back telling you how much life is left. The Mophie has 4 and it would drop quickly from 4 to 1. Hope this helps.

I got this yesterday and I love the security it gives me about my battery life. The front of the case is very sleek and doesnt add…Read more much to the size. The back is slightly larger and the unit all together is a bit heavier but a small price to pay so that you wont have to charge your phone every night. The only drawback about this product is that it only comes in black.
