What is QuickTime Pro?
QuickTime is software that allows you to play back audio and video on your computer. QuickTime Pro is a software key, similar to a serial number, consisting of numbers and letters to unlock extra features on your free QuickTime Player.

How do I receive my QuickTime Pro key?
Once you have placed your order, you will be sent an order confirmation containing details how to access your key. You can also log into your online account using your AppleID and click on the ‘software downloads’ link. You will then be presented with your QuickTime Pro key.

I need help installing my QuickTime Pro key.
First of all, make sure your computer and operating system fullfill the minimum system requirements for QuickTime. Detailed information is available here QuickTime Pro for Mac OS X | QuickTime Pro for Windows. When entering your software key, make sure you do not add any extra spaces or characters. The key is case sensitive.

Learn to Play - Basic Lessons & Artist Lessons
Learn to Play lessons are great way to to enhance your ability to make music, and are available exclusively through GarageBand ’09, which is included in Apple’s iLife ‘09 software suite of applications. GarageBand allows you to create and record music, make podcasts, and play with your own virtual band! Click here to learn more about iLife and GarageBand.
There are two types of Learn to Play lessons: Basic Lessons, and Artist Lessons. GarageBand comes with several Basic Lessons, and you can download additional Basic Lessons to use in GarageBand. You can also purchase Artist Lessons through the GarageBand Lesson Store in selected countries. These Artist Lessons feature contemporary artists that teach you how to play their songs on piano or guitar.
Playing Learn to Play Lessons
To play a Basic Lesson or purchased Artist Lesson, launch GarageBand and navigate to the Learn to Play area. You can play the free and purchased content you’ve downloaded. To preview new content or make new purchases, go to the Lesson Store.
Previewing Learn to Play Lessons
You can preview Basic Lessons before you download them, and Artist Lessons before you purchase them. Just launch GarageBand and click on the Lesson Store tab. Then, click either the Basic Lessons or Artist Lessons tab in the main area of the _aw_window. To preview the lessons you’re interested in, click anywhere within the rectangle (except the Add to Basket button) and the preview starts playing.
Purchasing and Downloading Artists Lessons
When you purchase Artist Lessons, you receive your content instantly! Once you’re in the Lesson Store and you find the Artist Lesson you like, simply click the Add to Basket button. The total number of lessons in your basket displays at the bottom of the _aw_window. After you’ve added all of the lessons you want buy and you’re ready to purchase the items in your basket, click the Checkout button. Your default Internet browser will open and you’ll be directed to the Apple Online Store where you’ll be asked to sign-in with your Apple ID and password.
An Apple ID and password is required to purchase Artist Lessons in GarageBand. If you don’t have an Apple ID, click the Create an Account button and then follow the instructions. See the Your Account section of online Help to learn more about the benefits of an Apple ID, or to find/reset your Apple ID or password.
Once you verify the lessons in your shopping basket, total costs, billing information, and shipping information, click the Place My Order button. The Apple Online Store processes your order and when complete, you are directed to the Thank you page. GarageBand automatically launches the Learn to Play area, where you can see your lesson being downloaded. Once your download completes, just click the Play button to enjoy!
Retrieving downloaded Artist Lessons
If your Artist Lessons do not automatically begin downloading, you quit GarageBand before your lesson finished downloading, or you do not see your purchased lessons in GarageBand, there are a few ways to retrieve your content:
- Click the link on the ‘Thank you’ page after checkout to manually start your download.
- Re-open GarageBand and your content will resume downloading where it left off.
- View and re-download your Artist Lesson purchases by visiting the Downloadable Software Purchases section of Your Account
