For most items in our store, you can include a gift message on the packing slip — at no charge.
When you select to put an item in your shopping basket, just check the box that says “Add a free gift message” . You’ll be prompted to create your message after you have finished shopping and have selected to check out. If your order includes items intended for different recipients, you can enter a message for each item so that when the gifts arrive, it will be clear which item is intended for whom. At this time, the Apple Online Store does not support shipping items in a single order to multiple shipping addresses. To send gifts to different addresses, please place a new order through the Apple Online Store — one order per shipping address.
Do not worry about pricing information being displayed for gift orders. For all orders, price information is not displayed on the packing slip but is displayed on email communications and postal invoices when sent. So, if you have a gift shipped directly to family or friends, they won’t see how much it cost.
When you order a new iPod, iPhone, or select Apple-branded software and accessories, you can add a special touch to your gift: the Apple Gift Package (subject to availability). The Apple Gift Package is a signature gift box with a red ribbon and a greeting card with your personal message.

How to add gift packaging: When you add an iPod or iPhone in your shopping basket just check the box that says "This is a gift" and you will automatically be given the option to add gift packaging. Want to make an iPod gift extra special? You can engrave any model of a new iPod — iPod shuffle, iPod nano, and iPod. Personalized laser engraving is only available through the Apple Online Store. Engraving is not offered for refurbished iPods.
After you select your iPod from the Apple Online Store, you will be offered the option to type up to two lines of text for iPod nano or iPod, and one line of text for iPod shuffle. As you type, you’ll see an image of what your text will look like on the iPod pictured on the right of the page. The text will be engraved near the top on the back of the iPod, just like it appears on the image.
Please make sure that everything is spelled correctly, as your engraved iPod can not be returned. You may wish to review our Sales and Refunds Policy. You may be able to make changes to the engraved text or cancel your item if the online Order Status indicates that your iPod has “Not Yet Shipped.” See the Online Self Service Section for further details.
