By doing this, one would be able to buy this particular accessory and reuse the endpoint with one's MacBook charger without having to dish out the 30 quid for the entire world adapter thingie.

The adapter fits my MacBook power supply so has a useful double value. The iPod was fully charged in an hour - very good!
