Overview
PowerDock 2 is a charging base where your family can charge their iPod or iPhone. This single unit includes two built-in Apple Universal Docks. And it comes with a collection of Universal Dock insert adapters to ensure that nearly every iPod gets a place at the table.

This charger is great and it looks good too. This product does not sync your ipod or iphone 3g with itunes. It does work with the…Read more iphone 3g. We have had this charger for 2 months and have had no problems. If you need to charge two iphones at the same time, than this is a great solution.

Good charger. Does what it says. Looks nice and well built.
Pros:
-Nice sleek finish and style.
-Built solid and will not sl…Read moreip or push over easily.
-Removes clutter and cord mess.
-Will accomodate iphones with covers on them (ex. Seidio Innocase II).
Cons:
-If you have two of the same devices (ex: 2 iPhones), Griffin will only provide an adapter for one of them.
Summery: The only thing keeping this from 5/5 stars is that Griffin didnt provide two of each adapters since it is a dual charger. Luckily I ony needed one since my iPhone has a case, it fits snuggly on the charger without any adapter needed. My wife prefers no case (crazy!), so her's gets the supplied adapter. As for not synching, it's a charger. Besides, I like to charge my phone on my nightstand. I dont keep my CPU on my nightstand so synching with the charger is pointless. The dock is actually very attractive. The size of the dock is just right on any dresser or desk or even night stand. one power cable and a bunch of dock adapters for all of the ipods and such. Each adapter is also numbers which assigns them to each device. Very easy to use and highly recommended(328 of 367 people found this review useful)

I saw this product and it grabbed my attention, because my girlfriend have been sharing one Ac charger for her ipod nano, my Ipod …Read more30Gb, and my iPhone. The Apple store shipped it with in two days of ordering, which is always a nice surprise after they tell you a longer ETA.
After opening and setting it up, I decided to use the custom dock adapter for the ipod nano, and the ipod 30gb. The dock works perfectly. It sits and helps eliminate clutter and having to constantly swap chargers.
I decided to not even use it for the iPhone, even though it is iPhone compatible. I use the Agent 18 eco shield case, and I never have a reason to remove the Phone from it. I believe the agent 18 even came with a custom dock adapter that allows you to charge the iPhone in a dock and did fit the PowerDock when I tried it. I just felt that the iPhone felt a little unsturdy, and was concerned about damaging it. However, that is just my preference, and again, it would work if you wanted to use it.
Only con: be careful when you insert the dock adapters in to the PowerDock, as they "click in to place", making them very difficult to remove. If you plan on frequently changing the dock adapters for different model iPods, this could be a problem. other wise ...charge on!(206 of 246 people found this review useful)
